Description
The Axiom 2 Pro 12 S 12-inch HybridTouch multifunction display with High CHIRP Sonar, No Charts/Transducer is a premium 12-inch HybridTouch multifunction display for serious cruising, sailing and offshore fishing installations. Axiom 2 Pro combines a responsive touchscreen with dedicated physical keys and a rotary controller, a six-core processing platform, 64 GB of internal storage, dual Gigabit RayNet ports, NMEA 2000, dual-band Wi-Fi, HDMI output and extensive video/audio integration. The S model includes a single-channel high-CHIRP sonar intended for dependable depth and cruising sonar. This SKU is supplied without a chart card. A transducer is not included.
Main Features
- 12-inch HybridTouch display with touchscreen, user-configurable keypad and rotary control for dependable operation in rough or wet conditions.
- Six-core LightHouse platform with 64 GB storage for fast chart redraw, responsive multi-function pages and future system expansion.
- Dual Gigabit RayNet Ethernet plus NMEA 2000 for multi-display networks, radar, sonar, cameras, autopilot, engines and instruments.
- Advanced video and connectivity with dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI output, analog video input and audio connections.
- Built-in high-CHIRP sonar for reliable depth and bottom awareness with a compatible CPT-S transducer.
HybridTouch helm control
Axiom 2 Pro is designed for helms where touch-only control is not always ideal. HybridTouch combines the speed of capacitive touchscreen gestures with dedicated hard keys and a rotary controller, making it easier to operate when the boat is moving, the operator is wearing gloves or spray is on the screen. The keypad is user configurable so frequently used functions can be assigned to physical controls rather than buried in menus.
LightHouse navigation and charting
The LightHouse operating system brings chartplotting, radar, sonar, autopilot, engine data, cameras and entertainment controls into one interface. It supports Raymarine LightHouse Charts along with supported Navionics and C-MAP cartography. Waypoints, routes and split-screen layouts can be customized for cruising or fishing, while LightHouse apps and partner integrations extend the display beyond traditional navigation functions. The system can be used as a single premium chartplotter or as the core of a multi-display network.
Performance, storage and networking
Axiom 2 Pro uses a six-core processor and 64 GB of solid-state internal storage. Two front-mounted microSDXC slots provide convenient access for charts and data. Two RayNet Ethernet ports support 10/100/1000 Mb/s networking, allowing high-bandwidth radar, sonar, IP cameras and multiple Axiom displays to share data. NMEA 2000 connects vessel instruments, engines, tanks, AIS and Evolution autopilots. Dual-band 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 support mobile and wireless functions.
Video, audio and external integration
Unlike smaller Axiom+ displays, Axiom 2 Pro includes HDMI output for displaying the helm image on another screen, a BNC analog video input on the power harness and analog audio connections. An external GPS antenna can be connected through the TNC port when the installation location limits the internal antenna’s sky view. These interfaces make Axiom 2 Pro well suited to enclosed pilothouses, offshore helms and refits where cameras, entertainment or remote monitors need to be integrated.
GNSS and navigation data
The internal 10 Hz GNSS receiver supports GPS, Galileo, GLONASS and BeiDou and can track up to 28 satellites simultaneously. SBAS augmentation includes WAAS and other regional systems. The fast heading-independent position updates support smooth chart motion and precise waypoint navigation, while external heading data from an EV-1/AR200 or other compatible source enables improved radar overlay, MARPA and augmented-reality performance.
High-CHIRP cruising sonar
The Pro S version is aimed at cruising and sailing rather than maximum fishfinder capability. Its built-in single-channel high-CHIRP sonar provides depth, bottom contour and underwater awareness with a compatible CPT-S transducer. It does not include RealVision MAX SideVision/DownVision/3D imaging or the separate 1 kW CHIRP port found on the RVM version. For a cruising helm, that simpler sonar architecture reduces complexity while preserving the full navigation, radar and networking capability of Axiom 2 Pro.
Radar, autopilot, AIS and cameras
With dual RayNet ports, Axiom 2 Pro can build a sophisticated integrated helm around Quantum 2 or Cyclone radar, AIS700, Evolution autopilot, i70s instruments and Raymarine IP cameras. ClearCruise augmented reality can combine CAM300 video with AR200 heading/attitude data to overlay AIS targets, waypoints and navigation objects on a live camera image. Compatible NMEA 2000 engine gateways can place propulsion and tank data beside charts and radar for a centralized helm presentation.
Display, power and installation
The 12-inch optically bonded display is rated at 1200 nits for sunlight visibility. Axiom 2 Pro operates from 8–32 V DC, making it suitable for 12 V and 24 V systems, and is rated IPX6/IPX7. Trunnion-mounted dimensions are 388.5 × 246.13 × 233.4 mm, while flush/surface dimensions are 358.03 × 222.8 × 233.4 mm. Installation planning should allow space for two RayNet cables, power/video/audio harnesses, sonar connectors and service loops behind the display.
