Description
The Raymarine R28170 is a replacement short-arm wind vane transducer assembly for compatible Raymarine sailing-instrument systems. Mounted at the masthead, the vane and cups sense apparent wind direction and wind speed for display on supported instruments.

- Short-arm masthead wind sensor with vane and anemometer cups.
- Replacement sensor assembly for supported Raymarine wind instrument installations.
- Approximately 14.5-inch standard arm as used in classic Raymarine short-arm vane systems.
- Compatible with i60 and selected ST60/ST60+/ST290/ST70/i70-era systems when installed with the correct cabling/interface.
- Sensor only: mast cable and base are not included with R28170.
Because this is a replacement masthead assembly, confirm the existing cable, mast base and instrument interface before ordering. Older analog wind systems may route through an iTC-5 when integrating with newer SeaTalk NG instruments.
