Description

The Raymarine CP370 is a 1 kW ClearPulse digital sonar module for Raymarine networked multifunction displays. It is designed for serious coastal and offshore depth sounding and conventional fishfinding using compatible 50/200 kHz transducers, with digital filtering and bottom-tracking algorithms intended to maintain a clear return in challenging conditions.

Sonar performance

CP370 is aimed at owners who prefer proven high-power conventional sonar rather than imaging sonar. Its 50 kHz channel supports deeper-water coverage while 200 kHz provides narrower-beam detail in shallower water, subject to transducer specifications.

Networked operation

The module mounts away from the helm and sends sonar data over RayNet to compatible displays. This is useful for multi-display installations because a single sonar module can serve the network.

Transducer selection

The connected transducer determines beam width, sensor functions, maximum usable power and practical depth performance. Verify connector compatibility and use the required Raymarine adapter if converting an existing transducer installation.

Installation

CP370 accepts 12 or 24 V DC, requires appropriate circuit protection and should be installed where ventilation and cable access are adequate.
