The Axiom+ 7 7-inch Multifunction Display with LightHouse Charts North America is a 7-inch networkable Raymarine multifunction display built for cruising, sailing and fishing helms that need a bright touchscreen and a clear path to system expansion. Axiom+ combines a HydroTough optically bonded IPS display, the LightHouse operating system, 10 Hz internal GPS/GNSS, RayNet Ethernet, NMEA 2000/SeaTalk NG, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth in a compact marine-rated housing. This chartplotter-only version is intended for navigation-focused installations or systems where sonar will come from a network sounder or another compatible display. This SKU includes LightHouse Charts North America.

LightHouse chartplotting and helm control
Axiom+ runs Raymarine’s LightHouse operating system, which is designed to scale from a single navigation display to an integrated helm. Chart pages can be combined with radar, sonar, engine data, cameras and instrument information in split-screen layouts. LightHouse supports Raymarine LightHouse Charts as well as supported Navionics and C-MAP options, and the system can be updated over Wi-Fi or from a microSD card. The interface also supports compatible LightHouse apps and integrations for onboard systems.
Display and user experience
The 7-inch IPS panel is optically bonded and protected by Raymarine’s HydroTough oleophobic coating. Resolution is 1024 × 600, and maximum illumination is 1800 nits. Wide viewing angles make the display easier to read from different helm positions, while two-point capacitive touch supports familiar gestures for panning, zooming and menu operation. For installations where a touchscreen is hard to reach, an RMK-10 remote keypad can provide physical control.
GNSS and navigation accuracy
The internal receiver updates position at 10 Hz, tracks up to 28 satellites simultaneously and supports GPS, GLONASS and BeiDou. SBAS support includes WAAS and other regional augmentation systems. Raymarine specifies typical position accuracy of 15 m or better without SBAS and 5 m or better with SBAS for 95% of the time. An internal ceramic antenna makes the unit self-contained for many open-helm installations, while system design should account for metal structures or enclosed mounting locations that can reduce satellite visibility.
Sonar expansion
This version does not have an internal RealVision sounder. It can still become a full fishfinder display by receiving sonar over RayNet from a compatible Raymarine sonar module or another networked Axiom display. This is often the better choice on a multi-display helm where a dedicated high-power sounder such as CP370 or another compatible sonar source will serve several screens.
Radar, AIS, autopilot and cameras
Axiom+ can act as the central display for a broad Raymarine system. Quantum and Quantum 2 radar can be connected over RayNet or supported wireless links, AIS700 targets can be shown on charts and radar pages, and Evolution autopilot data and control can be integrated over SeaTalk NG/NMEA 2000. Compatible CAM210/CAM300 IP cameras can be displayed over the marine network, and ClearCruise augmented-reality functions can be added with the appropriate camera and AR200 sensor. Engine and tank data from compatible NMEA 2000 interfaces can also be displayed.
Networking and storage
The unit has one RayNet 10/100 Ethernet port, a DeviceNet/NMEA 2000 connection on the power harness, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0. Internal solid-state storage is 16 GB, with approximately 14 GB usable, and a microSDXC slot supports charts, software updates and user data. RayNet switches such as RNS-5 or RNS-8 are useful when the helm expands beyond a single Ethernet device.
Power, dimensions and environmental rating
Nominal supply is 12 V DC with an operating range of 8–16 V DC. Approximate consumption for this configuration is 7.34 W. The enclosure is rated IPX6/IPX7 and Raymarine lists an operating temperature range from -25°C to +55°C. Trunnion-mounted dimensions are 250.4 × 162.5 × 218 mm; flush/surface dimensions are 201.1 × 133 × 218 mm. These dimensions include cable depth, which is important when checking clearance behind the helm.
