Description
The Raymarine ClearCruise Augmented Reality Pack combines a CAM300 marine IP camera with the AR200 stabilization/heading sensor to place navigation information into a live forward-looking video view on compatible Axiom displays. The system helps bridge the gap between what the chartplotter is showing electronically and what the operator sees through the windshield.
Main Features
- CAM300 HD marine IP camera supplies the live video image.
- AR200 sensor supplies heading and stabilization data needed for accurate overlay alignment.
- ClearCruise AR overlays can identify compatible AIS targets, waypoints and navigation aids in the camera view.
- Integrates with Axiom LightHouse systems for a unified navigation presentation.
- Useful for busy approaches and unfamiliar waterways where relating chart objects to the real scene can reduce workload.
How It Works
The camera captures a forward view while the AR200 provides heading/attitude information. The compatible Axiom display then aligns navigational targets with the video picture. Correct sensor alignment and camera aiming are essential for useful overlays.
System Requirements
ClearCruise AR is a system feature, not a stand-alone camera function. A compatible Axiom display, network connectivity and correctly configured navigation/AIS data sources are required.
