Description
The Raymarine B164 20° is a high-performance 1 kW bronze through-hull transducer for offshore and deep-water traditional sonar. Its internally tilted element compensates for hull deadrise so the sonar beam points downward without requiring a bulky external fairing block.
Main Features
- 1 kW dual-frequency sonar at 50/200 kHz for deep-water sensitivity and high-frequency target detail.
- 20° tilted element designed for hull deadrise of approximately 16–24°.
- Low-profile bronze housing protrudes less than 6.35 mm (0.25 in) outside the hull.
- Built-in fast-response water-temperature sensor supplies temperature data with sonar depth.
- Direct CP370 connection through the fitted Raymarine 8-pin DSM-style connector.
Raymarine rates the B164 to 1,800 ft at 50 kHz and 800 ft at 200 kHz. Its three-ceramic array is substantially more sensitive than basic 600 W tilted-element models, making it a strong choice for trolling, bottom fishing and structure work where a flush installation is important.
