Description

The Raymarine B164 12° is a high-performance 1 kW bronze through-hull transducer for offshore and deep-water traditional sonar. Its internally tilted element compensates for hull deadrise so the sonar beam points downward without requiring a bulky external fairing block.

Main Features

• 1 kW dual-frequency sonar at 50/200 kHz for deep-water sensitivity and high-frequency target detail.
• 12° tilted element designed for hull deadrise of approximately 8–15°.
• Low-profile bronze housing protrudes less than 6.35 mm (0.25 in) outside the hull.

Raymarine rates the B164 to 1,800 ft at 50 kHz and 800 ft at 200 kHz. Its three-ceramic array is substantially more sensitive than basic 600 W tilted-element models, making it a strong choice for trolling, bottom fishing and structure work where a flush installation is important.
