RAYMARINE SeaTalk NG Backbone Kit – A25062

Description

The Raymarine SeaTalk NG Backbone Kit (A25062) contains the core cables, T-pieces, power lead and terminators needed to build a multi-point SeaTalk NG backbone through a boat. It is intended for a larger network than the compact starter kit and gives installers enough backbone cable to distribute connection points along the vessel.

Main Components

• Two 5 m SeaTalk NG backbone cables (A06036).
• One 20 m SeaTalk NG backbone cable (A06037).
• Four SeaTalk NG T-pieces (A06028) for device spur connections.
• Two backbone terminators (A06031) for the two ends of the network.
• SeaTalk NG power cable (A06049) plus the SeaTalk NG reference documentation.

Installation Notes

Run the blue backbone through the vessel and place T-pieces where instruments, displays, sensors or gateways need spur connections. The backbone must be powered at an appropriate point and terminated at both physical ends. Device current draw and total backbone loading should be checked when planning a larger system.
