The EM-TRAK Nexus X100 is a fully integrated marine communication and safety base station combining a Class D VHF/DSC radio with high-power AIS Class B transmission and reception. Designed as a central communications hub, the X100 delivers advanced situational awareness, vessel-to-vessel communication, and wireless mobile device integration for modern recreational and professional vessels.

The X100 is engineered as a single, vessel-wide communications platform. The integrated AIS continuously transmits and receives vessel data while intelligently managing transmission timing to avoid interference with VHF voice traffic. Silent mode allows AIS transmission to be temporarily disabled when required, while CPA and navigation alerts enhance collision avoidance and safety.

Through the free CONNECT-X app, up to ten mobile devices can be connected wirelessly, transforming phones and watches into full-function VHF/DSC command mics. Crew can communicate via private intercom, initiate DSC calls, monitor AIS targets, receive MOB alerts, and manage radio functions from anywhere onboard, eliminating dead spots when integrated with the vessel’s Wi-Fi network.
