The HydroFix™ Hydrostatic Release Unit (HRU) is a patented rod-based system designed to quickly and reliably release a beacon from a Category I bracket when submerged between 1.5 and 4 meters (4.9–13.1 feet) underwater. Compatible with Sea Shelter™, Sea Shelter™2, Sea Shelter™3, and Sea Shelter™4 brackets, the HydroFix™ HRU eliminates the need for batteries, blades, or pyrotechnic devices, ensuring seamless performance in emergencies. This date-stamped product requires replacement every two years from installation or four years from manufacture.
