Description
The Fireboy Xintex Gasoline Fume Detector will alert you to Gasoline fumes in your bilge or engine compartment!
The Fireboy Xintex Gasoline Fume Detector detects deadly gasoline fumes caused by fuel leaks from faulty tanks and fuel line plumbing. These leaks create new fumes as rapidly as the blower clears old fumes away. With the blower off, the hazard is increased! In addition, the blower fan is typically operating prior to engine start-up, thus offering no protection from the ignition of fumes by electrical short circuit, battery hydrogen explosion, smoking or other causes.
The Fireboy Xintex Gasoline detector detects gasoline vapours early to prevent personal injury and possible explosions. Gasoline Fume Detectors are an effective means to monitor gasoline fumes in an engine compartment, leaking fuel tanks, or fumes from un-burnt hydrocarbons emitted by faulty exhaust systems. This system uses a single FS-T01-S Sensor, located in a place of interest, and a central G-1B-R Single Channel Black Round Display unit that notifies you to the state of the system.
There are three (3) LED’s located on the Display unit. The Green LED, located at the top, indicates that system is operational. The Yellow LED, located in the center, indicates if there is a fault in the system. This is to notify the user to check the connections and wire runs of the Sensor.
The Red LED, located at the bottom, indicates a fume buildup of 20% of the Lower Explosive Limit (LEL) which is considered an alarm. The 68 dB Alarm Horn will sound when the Red LED is illuminated.

GASOLINE FUME DETECTORS ARE MEANT TO SERVE AS A SUPPLEMENTAL WARNING SYSTEM. IT IS NOT MEANT TO REPLACE STANDARD SAFETY PRACTICES WHICH SHOULD BE CARRIED OUT AROUND EXPLOSIVE GASES. The G-1B-R, G-1C-R, and G-2B-R Gasoline Fume Detectors are an effective means to monitor gasoline fumes in an engine compartments, leaking fuel tanks, or fumes from un-burnt hydrocarbons emitted from faulty exhaust systems. The systems use sensors, located in a place of interest, and a central display unit that notifies you of the state of the system.
