How to Use Shurhold Buff Magic

1. Start clean: Wash and dry the surface. Work in moderate temperatures and, when possible, out of direct sunlight.
2. Choose the correct pad: For the #3500 Dual Action Polisher PRO use #3555 for severe oxidation or #3554 for light-to-medium correction. For the #3400 Pro Rotary Polisher use the YBP-5103 wool compounding pad. The original #3100/#3101 Dual Action Polisher uses #3151 or #3154.
3. Apply sparingly: Spread a thin layer of Buff Magic over a small work area using a clean applicator, brush or cloth. A little product goes a long way.
4. Start with the pad touching the surface: Set the pad flat on the treated area before switching the machine on.
5. Work overlapping passes: Keep the machine moving in an overlapping up/down and left/right pattern. With the rotary #3400, keep the pad flat and never allow it to sit in one spot.
6. Work the compound until it breaks down: Buff Magic’s abrasive action becomes finer as it is worked. Continue until the visible compound largely disappears and a thin shiny or oily haze remains.
7. Wipe and inspect: Remove residue with a clean microfiber towel. Repeat the compounding step if oxidation remains.
8. Protect the corrected surface: After the desired gloss is restored, follow with Shurhold Pro Polish and the appropriate finishing pad to add UV and environmental protection.

Hand Application

Apply Buff Magic sparingly with a clean microfiber towel and work it over the oxidized area in a circular motion until residue develops. Buff the residue away with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Repeat as necessary for heavier oxidation.

Tip: Keep pads clean and avoid saturating them with spent compound. A clean pad cuts more consistently and reduces the chance of dragging contamination across the finish.
