Description
The NOVABRAID 5/8″ Nov-Eight 8-Plait Nylon Anchor Rope in White/Gold is an 8-plait high-tenacity Nylon 6 anchor rope designed to feed cleanly through modern windlasses while providing the elasticity needed to absorb marine shock loads. Its firm square-braid construction flakes compactly and resists twisting and hockling. Sold by the foot. Order quantity represents the number of feet required. Continuous lengths are supplied whenever possible; if an uninterrupted length is critical, confirm availability before ordering.
Key Features
- High-tenacity Nylon 6 construction provides strength, elasticity, and shock absorption.
- 8-plait square braid is designed to feed reliably through popular marine anchor windlasses.
- Flakes compactly in the anchor locker and uses less storage space than comparable 3-strand rope.
- Resists twisting, kinking, and hockling during deployment and retrieval.
- Can be spliced directly to chain to create a strong, streamlined anchor rode connection.
Nov-Eight is intended for anchor rodes, mooring ropes, and other marine applications where compact stowage, windlass compatibility, and built-in elasticity are valuable.
