The Ocean Signal safeSEA EPIRB3 Pro is a Category 1 Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon designed for recreational and commercial vessels operating near shore or offshore. Its float-free housing automatically releases the beacon if the vessel sinks, while manual activation remains available when immediate deployment is required.

The EPIRB3 Pro combines worldwide satellite alerting with a local AIS broadcast. Nearby AIS-equipped vessels can receive the beacon’s current position directly, while the 406 MHz distress message and identifying information are relayed through the international Cospas-Sarsat system. The integrated Return Link Service indicator lets the user know when the distress alert has been successfully received.
