Description
VERATRON EngineBox Single Engine NMEA 2000 / J1939 Gateway – A2C1824820001
The Veratron EngineBox for Single Engine is a compact gateway for modernizing vessels that still rely on analog engine senders or SAE J1939 data. It gathers common engine, tank and vessel signals and makes them available to compatible NMEA 2000 displays, reducing the need to retain a panel full of dedicated analog gauges.
- Converts analog sender information to NMEA 2000 data for compatible multifunction and instrument displays.
- Provides an SAE J1939 interface for bringing compatible engine data onto the NMEA 2000 network.
- Supports engine RPM plus multiple resistive, voltage and 4-20 mA sensor inputs.
- Operates on 12V or 24V systems with an 8-32V operating range.
- Rugged IPX9K-f protection and compact packaging suit demanding marine installations.
EngineBox is especially useful in repower and electronics-upgrade projects where existing analog senders need to coexist with a digital helm. Proper sender calibration and network configuration are required so displayed values match the installed sensors.
