Description
The COMET Man Overboard Light & Smoke Signal is a combined day-and-night lifebuoy marker for rapidly identifying the position of a person overboard. Mounted in its bracket near a 4 kg lifebuoy, the unit is deployed with the lifebuoy to produce dense orange smoke by day and bright flashing lights for night visibility.
- Combined day/night marker: orange smoke and two LED lights identify the casualty position in varied visibility conditions.
- 15-minute orange smoke: creates a persistent daytime position marker and helps show wind direction.
- Dual 2-candela lights: current COMET version uses two LED lights with extended operating duration.
