Description
The Daniamant L90 LED is the modern replacement for the well-known L90 lifebuoy light previously supplied through the COMET product family. It retains the established L90 form factor so existing mounting arrangements can be reused, while replacing the older lamp and mercury-switch technology with a white flashing LED and modern tilt-switch activation.
- Automatic emergency activation: self-activating tilt switch starts the light when the lifebuoy is deployed.
- 2-candela minimum output: meets the IMO SOLAS lifebuoy-light performance requirement.
- White flashing LED: updated light source improves longevity and removes the legacy mercury-switch system.
- Legacy L90 compatibility: retains the previous L90 form so existing brackets and fixings do not need to be changed.
- International approvals: SOLAS, MED, USCG and Transport Canada approved.
This 63-401A-WB configuration is based on the L90 LED without batteries and supplied with a bracket. Five approved LR20 / D-size 1.5 V alkaline cells are required for operation and should be replaced annually in accordance with Daniamant instructions.
