Description
Manufactured with premium UL1426 tinned copper battery cable. The battery cable is fine stranded to produce maximum conductivity and flexibility. In addition, all battery cable is flame retardent, UV inhibited, rated to 600V and 105Ã’š°C. The lugs are tinnned copper to avoid corrosion and last longer. Each end has a piece of adhesive lined 3:1 heatshrink tubing placed over the electrical connection. The heatshrink tubing seals out moisture and other corrosive elements found in the marine environment. This ensures a longer lasting battery connection.
*NOTE* ANCOR recommends the use of yellow conductors onboard boats to replace DC black conductors. The reason is to avoid confusion between AC black conductors (hotlead) and DC black conductors (negative lead). Yellow conductors should be used as the DC negative lead and black will remain as part of the three conductor AC circuits.
