The Actisense A2K-KIT-1A combines the core components required to build a properly powered and terminated NMEA 2000 backbone. It is a convenient starting point for a new installation and uses Actisense metal-bodied connectors with corrosion-resistant contacts for dependable marine service.

• Includes the essential power, termination, backbone and device-connection components for a basic network
• Two Micro T-pieces provide connection points for two NMEA 2000 devices
• Two terminators maintain correct network impedance at both ends of the backbone
• 2 m NMEA 2000 Lite cable provides the initial backbone connection
• Micro Power T-piece supplies network power through plug-and-play Micro connections

Additional T-pieces and trunk/drop cables can be added as the network grows, while the backbone must always remain correctly powered and terminated. This kit is best suited to installers starting a conventional linear NMEA 2000 backbone.
