MOELLER Universal 7-Key Ignition Safety Switch Lanyard, 70″ – 053455-10
The Moeller 053455-10 is a universal replacement ignition safety-switch lanyard designed for many popular outboard engine applications. It includes seven interchangeable key profiles, allowing one tether to fit a wide range of factory-style emergency engine cut-off switches.

When properly connected, the lanyard pulls the key from the engine’s emergency cut-off switch if the operator moves away from the controls, helping stop the engine. The coiled design remains compact during normal use while providing sufficient reach for movement around the helm.
Keep a spare lanyard aboard and replace the tether if it becomes cut, stretched, brittle or otherwise damaged. Confirm that one of the included key profiles securely operates the vessel’s ignition safety switch before getting underway.
