Description
The Garmin GT23M-TH is a stainless steel thru-hull transducer designed for compatible Garmin sounders and chartplotters. It combines mid-band CHIRP traditional sonar for fish arches and depth performance with ClearVü scanning sonar for a detailed view of structure below the boat.

Sonar
The traditional CHIRP element operates across 80–160 kHz and is rated at 600 W. The ClearVü element supports 260/455 kHz scanning sonar and is rated at 500 W.
Installation
This is a thru-hull transducer. Confirm hull material, deadrise, mounting location and sounder compatibility before cutting the hull. Follow Garmin installation instructions to keep the sensor in clean water and minimize turbulence around the face of the transducer.
