Description
The COMET 1520 six-pack provides red hand flares for short-range visual distress signaling aboard lifeboats, liferafts, commercial vessels and recreational craft. The compact flare design uses a telescopic handle and pull-wire ignition for controlled operation while keeping the package compact for stowage.
- High-intensity red signal: 15,000 candela for strong short-range visibility.
- 60-second minimum burn: provides a sustained location signal by day or night.
- Telescopic handle: extends for safer handling while remaining compact in storage.
- Pull-wire ignition: straightforward top ignition system designed for emergency use.
- Marine distress application: suitable for pinpointing position once rescuers or other vessels are in visual range.
Six flares are supplied as a package. Store in a dry, accessible location and inspect expiry dates as part of routine vessel safety checks.
