Description
The COMET F-PACK combines two complementary visual distress signal types in one compact package: four Type B 2-Star Sky-Lite aerial signals for attracting attention at greater distance and two Type C red hand flares for pinpointing the vessel once help is closer.
- Six-signal package: combines aerial and hand-held distress signaling in one set.
- Four Type B signals: COMET 1228 2-Star Sky-Lite cartridges provide dual red aerial stars.
- Two Type C signals: COMET 1628 red hand flares provide sustained short-range visual marking.
- Day and night signaling: red pyrotechnic signals are designed for emergency visual identification.
- Complementary signal roles: aerial signals attract attention while hand flares help rescuers pinpoint position.
This legacy North American COMET package is built around the 1228 and 1628 product families. Check expiry dates and current carriage requirements before depending on any pyrotechnic signal as required safety equipment.
