How to Use Shurhold Pro Polish

1. Prepare the surface: Wash and dry the surface first. If the finish is oxidized or chalky, correct it with Buff Magic before applying Pro Polish.
2. Shake well: Pro Polish should be thoroughly mixed before use.
3. Use a small amount: Work in an area of roughly 2 ft x 2 ft. Apply a few small dollops or a thin ring of Pro Polish to the correct polishing pad. Avoid overloading the pad.
4. Start with the pad on the surface: Place the pad flat against the work area before switching the machine on to reduce sling.
5. Apply with light pressure: On a dual-action polisher, start at a low setting around 2-3 and move slowly in overlapping passes, first in one direction and then across it. Two overlapping passes normally provide even coverage. With the #3400 rotary, use the YBP-5203 rotary polish pad, keep the pad flat and keep it moving.
6. Buff the finish: Turn the machine off before lifting it from the surface. Remove remaining haze with a clean microfiber towel or, with the #3500 or #3400, use the YBP-3153 Brite Bonnet PRO at the lowest speed.
7. Maintain protection: Pro Polish is a protective wax/sealant rather than an oxidation-removal compound. Reapply periodically as part of normal maintenance; Shurhold commonly recommends waxing several times per year depending on exposure and use.
