SIERRA Yamaha Water Pump Repair Kit without Housing – 18-3450
The SIERRA 18-3450 is a water-pump repair kit without housing for compatible Yamaha outboards using the 68T-series pump configuration. It supplies the principal internal wear and sealing components for servicing a pump whose existing housing remains in reusable condition.
- Supplied without a replacement water-pump housing
- Includes SIERRA 18-8910 impeller, 18-3444 insert cup and 18-3142 impeller plate
- Includes impeller key, O-ring, SIERRA 18-0256 bolt and SIERRA 18-3176 water-seal damper
- Interchanges with Mallory 9-48613 and Yamaha 68T-W0078-00-00, 68T-W0078-01-00 and 68T-W0078-02-00
- Inspect the existing housing and replace it if the bore or sealing surfaces are scored, distorted or otherwise damaged
This kit is intended for pump maintenance where the housing can be retained. Correct impeller orientation, clean sealing surfaces and an undamaged insert/cup are important to establishing prime and maintaining adequate cooling-water flow after service.
