SIERRA 240°F Temperature Sender, 1/8-27 NPT – 18-5896 is a resistive engine-temperature sender for compatible marine temperature gauges. It uses a 1/8-27 NPT threaded body and a 10-32 stud electrical terminal and is calibrated for a 240°F gauge range using Sierra sender code D.
Temperature senders must match the gauge calibration as well as the mechanical thread. This model is appropriate where the existing sender or gauge specification calls for sender code D and a 1/8-27 NPT connection.
