SIERRA Johnson/Evinrude/OMC 0.425 in. Shaft Oil Seal – 18-2024
A dimensional replacement rotary shaft/oil seal for the specified marine gearcase, sterndrive or engine assembly. Correct seal size and lip orientation are critical to retaining lubricant and excluding water.
- Application: Selected Johnson/Evinrude/OMC gearcase applications using OEM 0314167 / 314167 / 0777927.
- Dimensional marine replacement seal; match shaft and bore dimensions before installation.
- Replace damaged, hardened or leaking seals during gearcase/drive service rather than reusing old seals.
- Lubricate the seal lip as specified and install squarely without damaging the sealing edge.
- Confirm the OEM interchange and shaft location because visually similar Sierra seals may use different diameters or lip designs.
