Description
SIERRA MerCruiser/OMC Mechanical Marine Fuel Pump – 18-7282 is an engine-driven marine fuel pump for selected MerCruiser and OMC sterndrive applications identified by OEM pump numbers 42725A3 and 509407. It is application-specific, so the engine family, original pump number and mounting-flange configuration should be matched before installation.
The pump replaces the published OEM and aftermarket references for this application and is supplied as a marine fuel-system service component. The mounting gasket is included. Sierra/aftermarket application references differ on engine-family shorthand, so OEM pump number should be used as the primary fitment check.
