Description
SIERRA 10-Micron Mercury Fuel/Water Separator Filter with Blue Sensor – 18-7968 is a sensor-equipped 10-micron fuel/water-separator filter for specified Mercury/Mariner six-cylinder outboards using the blue water-in-fuel sensor configuration. It is used on later engine applications than the black-sensor 18-7967 family.
The correct sensor style must match the engine harness and filter-head arrangement. Current cross-reference data covers a broad 115–250 HP six-cylinder family and certain later Verado applications, so OEM part number or serial-number fitment should be confirmed.
