Description
SIERRA 10-Micron Mercury Fuel/Water Separator Filter with Black Sensor – 18-7967 is a sensor-equipped 10-micron fuel/water-separator filter for specified Mercury/Mariner V6 EFI and DFI outboards, particularly pre-1995 applications using the black water-in-fuel sensor configuration.
The element combines fine fuel filtration with the correct sensor interface for the specified engine family. Sensor colour is an important fitment cue: later Mercury applications use a different blue-sensor filter, so engine serial/year and OEM filter number should be confirmed.
