Sierra 18-2172 is an engine coupler kit for MerCruiser GM V6 and V8 installations, including 305/350-family service and repower situations that adapt an older 3.5-inch two-piece-rear-main-seal crankshaft bolt pattern to a newer 3-inch one-piece-rear-main-seal engine. It replaces Mercury/MerCruiser 14505A2.
