SIERRA MerCruiser Thunderbolt IV/V Ignition Coil – 18-5438
The SIERRA 18-5438 is a replacement ignition coil for compatible GM V6 and V8 marine engines using MerCruiser Thunderbolt IV or Thunderbolt V ignition.
- Designed for selected GM V6 and V8 MerCruiser Thunderbolt ignition applications
- Compatible with Thunderbolt IV and Thunderbolt V systems where specified
- Primary resistance is approximately 1.0 ohm with a ±15% tolerance
- Secondary resistance is approximately 8 kOhms with a ±20% tolerance
- Provides the high-voltage source feeding the distributor cap and rotor assembly
