Description
SIERRA Rochester Divorced-Choke Thermostat – 18-7667 is a replacement choke thermostat for Rochester marine carburetors that use a divorced-choke arrangement. The thermostat reacts to engine heat to progressively open the choke as the engine warms.
A weak, broken or incorrectly calibrated choke thermostat can cause difficult cold starting, extended rich running or poor warm-up behavior. This part is specific to the Rochester divorced-choke configuration and replaces several MerCruiser thermostat assemblies.
