DOMETIC SEASTAR Front Mount Helm Back Plate Kit – HA5418

Dometic SeaStar HA5418 is a back plate mounting kit for SeaStar front mount hydraulic helms. It is used when retrofitting a standard SeaStar front mount helm into older or larger dash cut-outs and can reduce how far the helm protrudes from the front of the dash by the thickness of the dash panel.

This kit is useful when replacing older SeaStar, SyTen, or mechanical rotary steering installations where the existing dash opening is approximately 4-1/2 inches. It helps create a cleaner, more secure mounting surface for the new helm.
