DOMETIC SEASTAR BayStar Compact Cylinder Seal Kit – HP4600
The Dometic SeaStar HP4600 is a BayStar cylinder gland and seal service kit used to repair leaking or weeping end glands on compatible BayStar compact front-mount hydraulic steering cylinders.
This kit is for the older NPT-threaded BayStar compact cylinder family, not the ORB-threaded -3 cylinder versions. It is used during a cylinder reseal when the end glands, shaft sealing surfaces, or gland O-rings require service.
Correct seal-kit selection is important: match the cylinder model and thread style before ordering or installing.
- BayStar cylinder service: Intended for rebuilding compatible compact BayStar front-mount cylinders.
- Leak repair: Used when steering fluid is leaking around the cylinder end gland area.
