Dometic SeaStar HH6542-4 is a Classic tilt hydraulic helm pump with 2.4 cubic inches of displacement per revolution. It is intended for compatible SeaStar hydraulic steering systems where a higher-displacement helm and adjustable wheel angle are desired.

The tilt mechanism improves helm ergonomics by allowing the steering wheel angle to be set for the operator, while the hydraulic helm pump provides the steering flow and check-valve control needed for SeaStar hydraulic cylinders. A 2.4 cu in displacement helm generally moves more fluid per wheel turn than a 1.7 cu in helm, which can reduce turns lock-to-lock in compatible systems while increasing steering effort.
