The Dometic SeaStar HS5157 hydraulic steering cylinder seal kit is a service kit for repairing leaking or weeping front-mount SeaStar outboard steering cylinders with screw-in glands. It is intended for marine steering maintenance where the cylinder is otherwise serviceable but the front seals have begun to leak fluid or allow air into the system. The kit gives the installer the replacement glands and the dedicated tools needed to remove and install the seal glands correctly.
