Description
PROTOCOL Antifouling Paint Remover 5Gal – DEFOUL-5GAL
PROTOCOL DeFOUL is a water-based antifouling paint remover designed to remove bottom paint from boat hulls without sanding, scraping, or blasting. It is suitable for use on gelcoat, fiberglass, aluminum, steel, and wood hull surfaces, and helps reduce airborne paint dust during hull refinishing.
- Removes antifouling bottom paint without sanding or blasting
- Safe for gelcoat, fiberglass, aluminum, steel, and wood hulls
- Will not damage gelcoat or epoxy barrier coatings when used as directed
- Water-based, biodegradable formula with no regulated VOCs
- Can remove multiple layers of antifouling paint in a single application
DeFOUL uses adhesion bond-breaking technology to separate antifouling paint from the hull surface. Once the paint has lifted, the softened coating can be scraped or pressure washed off and collected for proper disposal according to local regulations.
