Description
POLYFORM Red “Low Drag” Buoy 14″ x 30″ – LD-3 RED.
In 1989, Polyform introduced the first patented low-drag buoy to the commercial fishing industry. Knowing that hauling a 700-lb crab pot in 30-foot seas is one of the most dangerous jobs, they designed a buoy to make pickups faster and safer, reducing strain on both crew and equipment. The Polyform LD-Series has since become the top choice for applications that require a buoy to be frequently dragged or retrieved from the water. Today, it’s the leading buoy in the commercial crabbing and fishing industries, outselling all other dragged buoys combined.
Features:
- Reduced Drag: Lowers drag by up to 80% compared to standard round buoys.
- Ideal for Offshore Fishing: Built to withstand the demands of offshore environments.
- Dependable Inflation System: Equipped with Polyform’s vinyl valve system to maintain steady inflation.
- Heavy-Duty Construction: Even wall thickness and reinforced rope hold for long-lasting durability.
- High Visibility: Available in a range of bright colors for easy spotting in challenging conditions.
Made in the USA, the LD-Series buoy offers rugged performance and essential protection for high-stakes marine work.
