PERKO Black 12V Green Starboard Side Navigation Light, 2 NM – 170-BSD-DP1

PERKO part 0170BSDDP1 is a complete 0170 Series surface-mount navigation light for vessels under 20 m (65.6 ft.). This DP1 version is the 12V model and includes the correct PERKO bulb. The serviceable lens assembly and bulb allow the fixture to be maintained without replacing the entire light.

Installation and Application

• Mount accurately vertical on the starboard side, in the same thwartship plane and at the same height as the port light, at least 1 m below the masthead light.
• Use only round-head or pan-head #10 screws; PERKO specifically warns not to use countersunk screws
• Use a minimum conductor size of 1.5 mm² (16 AWG) and limit total 12V voltage drop to 0.5V
• Fit the supplied silicone sleeves over the conductors and keep connections clear of the bulb
• Clean only with fresh water and mild detergent
