Installed in the fuel-tank vent line, this valve allows normal venting but rises with a fuel surge to restrict liquid wellback. It also assists automatic fuel-nozzle shutoff and can function as a check valve in an approved installation.

Product Details

• Black-and-white polymer valve body with an aluminum surge float.
• Connects to 15.9 mm (5/8 in.) vent hose.
• Functions as a fill-limit aid and vent-line check valve to reduce fuel surge and splashback during refuelling.
• Float remains open in normal service, rises with a fuel surge and seals the vent line as liquid reaches the valve.
• Must be installed within 30 degrees of vertical when used in a vented configuration.
• Published overall length is 39.7 mm (1-9/16 in.).
