This factory service component allows the compatible PERKO water strainer to be rebuilt while retaining its bronze castings, clear cylinder and stainless-steel basket.

Product Details

• Designed for older-model PERKO 0493 intake strainers in Sizes 4 and 5.
• Kit includes one cork cover gasket and two cork cylinder gaskets.
• PERKO Size 4 corresponds to a 1/2-inch pipe strainer; Size 5 corresponds to a 3/4-inch pipe strainer.
• The Figure 0493 series uses cast-bronze bodies, a clear polycarbonate cylinder and a stainless-steel basket.
• Confirm the figure, size and gasket material used by the existing strainer before ordering.
• Use the cork kit only on older strainers originally equipped with cork cylinder gaskets.
