The PANTHER 55-0408SS is a heavy-duty stainless auxiliary motor bracket built extra-tough and extra-wide for secondary engines, including high-torque four-stroke kickers. It features stainless torsion springs to assist lifting and a 2″ weatherproof, maintenance-free polypropylene mounting board. The bracket is rated for long or short shaft engines and provides 11″ of vertical travel to help set proper running height.

Installation Notes

Mount on port or starboard transom where it will not interfere with the primary engine or rudder. Drill four 3/8″ holes and seal with RTV silicone. Use 5/16 stainless fasteners and a backing plate for transoms 2″ or less. Greasing pivot bolts occasionally will help maintain smooth operation.
