The Victron Energy VE.Bus BMS NG is a next-generation battery management system designed specifically for Victron Lithium NG batteries. It is intended for lithium battery systems that include a Victron VE.Bus inverter, MultiPlus, Quattro, or other compatible VE.Bus inverter/charger, allowing the BMS to manage charge and discharge behaviour through VE.Bus communication while also protecting the battery bank from unsafe operating conditions.

• Designed for Victron Lithium NG batteries in 12V, 24V, and 48V systems
• Interfaces with VE.Bus inverters and inverter/chargers for integrated battery protection
• Monitors and protects against individual cell overvoltage, undervoltage, overtemperature, and undertemperature conditions
• Built-in Bluetooth enables monitoring, setup, diagnostics, and firmware updates through VictronConnect
• Receives voltage, current, state of charge, and individual cell data directly from connected Lithium NG batteries

The VE.Bus BMS NG is intended for Victron Lithium NG battery systems that require VE.Bus inverter or inverter/charger integration. It is not compatible with Victron Lithium Battery Smart batteries without the NG designation. For smaller systems without VE.Bus equipment, the Victron smallBMS NG may be the more appropriate option.
