VERATRON EngineBox Dual Engine NMEA 2000 / J1939 Gateway – A2C1767000001
The Veratron EngineBox Dual Engine provides a flexible interface between twin-engine systems and an NMEA 2000 marine network. It can translate both SAE J1939 CAN data and conventional analog engine-sender signals into NMEA 2000 data, making it particularly useful when integrating older analog engines or electronically controlled engines with modern digital displays and instrumentation.
- Dual-engine gateway converts both analog engine signals and SAE J1939 data to NMEA 2000
- Provides two SAE J1939 interfaces and two 0–4 kHz frequency inputs for twin-engine RPM monitoring
- Eight 0–400 Ω resistive inputs support traditional marine senders for parameters such as temperature, pressure, fuel level and trim
- Supports 4–20 mA and 0–5 V analog sensor signals for integration of additional engine and vessel data
- IPX9K-f protected housing is designed for demanding marine installations and operates from 8–32 V DC on nominal 12 V or 24 V systems
The EngineBox can transmit a wide range of information to compatible NMEA 2000 equipment, including engine RPM, engine hours, coolant temperature, engine oil pressure and temperature, transmission oil pressure, boost pressure, exhaust temperature, battery information, trim, fuel level and other supported vessel parameters. Configuration is performed using Veratron’s PC configuration system.
