Description
The GARMIN/Airmar DST810 is an NMEA 2000 smart thru-hull multisensor that combines depth, speed-through-water and temperature measurement with attitude data including heel/trim and pitch/roll. It is designed for integrated instrument systems where several vessel measurements are required from one through-hull sensor.
Main Features
- Depth, speed-through-water and water-temperature sensing
- NMEA 2000 smart-sensor output
- Heel/trim and pitch/roll attitude data
- 235 kHz, 100 W depth sounder with approximately 10° × 44° beam
- Designed for hull deadrise up to approximately 22°
Integrated vessel data
The DST810 consolidates several common sailing and powerboat instrument inputs. This reduces the need for separate depth, speed and temperature sensors when the installation is compatible.
NMEA 2000
As a smart sensor, the unit outputs digital data directly onto an NMEA 2000 network for compatible chartplotters and instruments.
Depth performance
The 235 kHz element is rated at 100 W with a practical maximum depth around 330 ft under favorable conditions.
Installation
Correct orientation, hull hole preparation and deadrise suitability matter for both depth and speed accuracy. Follow Airmar/Garmin installation instructions and antifouling guidance for the insert.
What’s in the Box
DST810 multisensor, attached NMEA 2000 cable and model-specific through-hull housing/install components as supplied; verify exact package contents before installation.
