Description
ACTISENSE EMU-1 NMEA 2000 Engine Monitoring Unit – EMU-1-BAS
The Actisense EMU-1 converts traditional analogue engine sender and gauge signals into standard NMEA 2000 data for display on compatible multifunction displays and instruments. It is a cost-effective way to bring older mechanically controlled engines onto a modern marine network without replacing the existing engines or gauges.
- Converts analogue engine and fluid-level signals into NMEA 2000 messages
- Supports up to two engines that share a common ground, subject to available inputs
- Provides six gauge inputs, four alarm inputs, two auxiliary inputs and two tachometer inputs
- Logs engine hours from tachometer activity in non-volatile memory
- PC configurable for a wide range of senders, gauges, engine parameters and tilt/trim data
The EMU-1 requires configuration for the connected senders and parameters. An Actisense NGX-1 or compatible legacy NGT-1 PC interface is required for configuration, diagnostics and firmware updates through Actisense Toolkit.
