The Greenfield Anchor Buddy is the must-have tool to assist you with anchoring when you are trying to get to shore. Simply attach Anchor Buddy to your anchor chain with the included shackle, once 30′ or so from shore, place your engine in neutral. With Anchor Buddy attached to a cleat, drop anchor into position and simply power to shore (or toss a grapple hook to shore and pull yourself in). Anchor buddy will stretch as you approach the shore. Once at shore, step off with a long bow line in hand. Now watch as Anchor Buddy safely pulls your boat back out to deeper water. Now secure the bow line to shore and enjoy! To re-board, simply pull your boat in with the bow line, step aboard, and let Anchor Buddy pull you away from shore so you can restart in deep water.
