Description
The GARMIN GMI 20 is a 4-inch color marine instrument display for presenting NMEA 2000 vessel and navigation data in a configurable, sunlight-readable format. It is designed to consolidate information such as depth, speed, wind, heading, engine and other supported sensor data without requiring a full chartplotter.
Main Features
- 4-inch color marine instrument display
- NMEA 2000 connectivity for compatible vessel sensors
- Configurable pages for navigation, wind, depth, speed and engine data
- Sunlight-readable display with marine-focused day/night presentation
- Low-profile dedicated instrument format for sail and powerboats
Data display
The GMI 20 does not create depth, wind or engine data on its own; it displays information supplied by compatible NMEA 2000 sensors and devices.
Flexible pages
Users can configure screens to emphasize the information most important for the vessel and operating mode. Dedicated instrument displays are especially useful where key data should remain visible while a chartplotter is used for navigation or sonar.
Network installation
The display connects to a powered NMEA 2000 backbone. Verify available network power and terminators before adding equipment.
Use at the helm
Its compact format works well in sailboat instrument pods, secondary helms and engine-monitoring positions.
What’s in the Box
