FREEMAN (1524A) 15X24 Hatch W/Alum Rng – 2433-0002.

Freeman oval and square lift out aluminum or steel hatches are specified and used on all types of vessels (tugs, fishing boats, research vessels, rescue craft and barges). These hatches are ideal for full-size access to void spaces, storage areas or lazarettes and for fish sorting or emergency escapes. A unique, flush handle design linked to a positive four dog mechanism ensures a secure seal. Special, corrosion resistant, high strength marine alloys combined with stainless steel, delrin and chloroprene are used to build hatches that withstand torturous treatment.

Fast acting, flush, quarter turn handles
Evenly spaced, positive locking dogs exert uniform pressure. Knife edge style uses a method of sealing the hatch, where a relatively thin edge of the metal frame seals by pressing into a gasket from the perpendicular.
